The connection between the jet and accretion disk power for blazars

► We compose a sample of 47 blazars. ► Correlation exists between observed peak and broad line region luminosities. ► This correlation is robust after debeaming of the synchrotron luminosity. ► Our result suggests a strong disk-jet link. ► Our result agrees with theoretical results qualitatively and quantitatively.
