Microstructure and photoluminescence of MoS2 decorated ZnO nanorods

- New UV and visible photoluminescence is observed on the ZnO nanorods decorated with a few layers of MoS2.
- The photoluminescence of ZnO nanorods is greatly influenced by decoration of a few layers of MoS2.
- No obvious room temperature ferromagnetism is present in the few-layer MoS2 decorated ZnO nanorods.
