Numerical optimization of an ambient temperature photoelectromagnetic detector for middle and far infrared spectral regions
چکیده انگلیسی
► The specific detectivity and responsivity of Photo Electro Magnetic (PEM) detector in the middle infrared region is at least one order of magnitude greater than those in far infrared. ► The response time in far infrared region is very short. ► The molar fraction is one the most important parameters that characterize optical and electrical properties of MCT semiconductor. ► Our results propose PEM detector as a useful photodetector for operating in the far infrared region. ► Response time of detector is increasing by increasing the thickness of semiconductor element thus thinner detector is expected for shorter response time.
