Investigation of pyroelectric phenomenon in TGS single crystals - A new method using a digital pyroelectric charge meter

► A new method for the precise measurements of pyroelectric effect is presented. ► Design and implementation of the measurement system is included. ► The system was assembled, calibrated and used in pyroelectric measurements. ► Results were compared with those obtained for the same samples by traditional method. ► It was possible to observe the domain switching near the phase transition.
