Effect of betatron oscillations on waveguide free electron laser gain

In this paper we analyse the spontaneous emission and gain spectrum of a waveguide free electron laser with betatron motion included in the analysis. The zero slippage condition and the small signal gain in the waveguide free electron laser is discussed.
