Magnetocaloric effect at room temperature in manganese perovskite La0.65Nd0.05Pb0.3MnO3 with double resistivity peaks

▸ Series of polycrystalline manganese perovskite oxides La0.7−xNdxPb0.3MnO3 prepared by the sol-gel technique. ▸ Citric acid was used as gelling agents for La3+, Nd3+, Pb2+, and Mn ions, and the obtained gel was subjected to preparatory heat treatment. ▸ Magnetic cooling efficiency is evaluated by its magnitude and its full-width at half maximum.
