Magnetic transitions in Ni1−xMox and Ni1−xWx disordered alloys

► We have used the augmented space technique to study the electronic structure of NiMo and NiW. ► Using the Lichtenstein formula we have obtained the exchange interactions in the alloys. ► We have studied the mean-field magnetic phase diagram for the alloys. ► The idea was to investigate why no spin-glass phase is not found in these alloys.
