Magnetic and transport properties of RCoIn5(R=Pr,Nd) and RCoGa5(R=Tb–Tm)

We report on magnetic and transport properties of single crystals of the light rare earth containing series of compounds RCoIn5(R=Pr,Nd) and heavy rare earth containing series RCoGa5(R=Tb–TmTm). All the compounds crystallize in the tetragonal HoCoGa5HoCoGa5 crystal structure and are very good metals with small defect scattering at low temperatures. NdCoIn5NdCoIn5 and members of the RCoGa5RCoGa5 series with large de Gennes factors order antiferromagnetically.
