Self-adjoint oscillator operator from a modified factorization

► We present a generalization of the Mielnik factorization. ► We study the case of linear relationship between the factorization coefficients. ► We introduce a new one-parameter self-adjoint oscillator operator. ► We show its properties depending on the values of the parameter.
