Sign change of the surface energy of a two-component superconductor

It is shown that the sign of the surface energy of a two-component superconductor is determined not only by the Ginzburg–Landau parameters of two superconducting components, but also by a temperature-independent parameter κξκξ, which is defined as the ratio of the coherence lengths of two components.
