Geometry of distributions associated with Tsallis statistics and properties of relative entropy minimization

Geometric aspects of Tsallis' nonextensive statistics are discussed by means of geometry with dual α-connections. Consequently, a close relation with the nonextensivity and curvature is elucidated. As main results we investigate several attractive properties of the minimization of Tsallis relative entropy with normalized q-expectation constraints.
