Spectroscopy of the Dirac oscillator perturbed by a surface delta potential

► We study the Dirac oscillator in (3+1) dimensions perturbed by a delta potential. ► A Green function technique is used to calculate the shift of the energy levels. ► The method is valid for any sharply peaked potential approaching the delta.
