Bremsstrahlung of relativistic electron scattering on an atom: Comparison of various channels

The Letter is devoted to the theory of Bremsstrahlung (BrS) produced by relativistic electron scattering on an atom with account for various channels of the process, namely, ordinary and polarization BrS without and with atomic excitation. Numerical results are presented for eAr scattering, using a realistic model of the target. Analysis made in the Letter enables one to establish the characteristic features of each BrS channel in wide range of parameters.
