Evolution of cubic-quintic complex Ginzburg-Landau erupting solitons under the effect of third-order dispersion and intrapulse Raman scattering

► TOD cancels one side eruptions of the CGLE eruption solitons. ► The cancellation is on the leading or trailing sides of the solitons depending on the TOD sign. ► The combined action of TOD and IRS is, in certain cases, able to completely eliminate eruptions. ► The later cancellation is obtained for lower values of IRS than the obtained for IRS alone.
