Ferroelectric liquid crystals versus dyed ferroelectric liquid crystals in SmC∗ phase

In order to study the effect of mixing dye in FLC materials the dielectric and electro-optical properties of pure and Anthraquinone dye doped FLC samples have been investigated. All the properties have been found to be strongly dependent on dye concentration in pure FLC.
