Magnetic property enhancement and crystal structures in bulk and nanosized ZnxNi1 − xFe2O4 (0⩽x⩽1)

► We investigated the magnetic property enhancement in ZnxNi1 − xFe2O4 (0⩽x⩽1). ► Magnetic quantities in both bulk and nanopowders reach a maximum at x∼0.5. ► This behavior stems from an indirect doping mechanism.
