Magnetic resonance force microscopy with a single spin S>1/2S>1/2

We studied theoretically detection of a single spin S>1/2S>1/2 using magnetic resonance force microscopy (MRFM) and taking into account anisotropy. We have shown that the MRFM signal for a spin S>1/2S>1/2 is the same as for spin S=1/2S=1/2 and obtained the analytical estimate for the half-width of the signal.
