Electrostatic resonance of clusters of dielectric cylinders: A finite element simulation

Based on the finite-element method, it is demonstrated that the electrostatic resonance features of a range of heterostructures made of clusters of dielectric cylinders depend sensitively on the shape and arrangement of the inclusions in the background matrix, and on the polarization of the applied electric field.
