The Research Status and Development Trend of Microbial Flocculant

Microbial flocculant is a kind of newly developed flocculant,For their biodegradability,high performance and harmless to environment,microbial flocculants has draw more and more attentions. This paper summarized a series of research and development on preparation of microbial flocculants. The factors that effect microbial flocculation and the optimization of the flocculation conditions were studied and discussed systematically. Also discussed the advantages and future trends of microbial flocculants in wastewater treatment.
