Synthesis of Perovskite-type Hydrides APdH3 (A = Sr, Ba) by a New Method Using CaH2 as a H2-Source

We have developed a simple method of the synthesis of hydrides using CaH2 as a hydrogen source. The perovskite-type hydrides APdH3-x (A = Sr, Ba) have successfully been synthesized this method. However, no superconductivity has been observed above 2 K.
