Evolution and merging of binaries with compact objects

We discuss the observed violation of our previous maximum NS mass MNSmax=1.5M⊙, raising our MNSmax to 1.7M⊙ and comment on how our scenario would change if the maximum NS mass is greater than 1.7M⊙.
