Semi-localized transitions model—General formulation and classical limits
چکیده انگلیسی

Semi-localized transitions (SLT) model is a natural generalization of two standard kinetic models for thermoluminescence (TL), i.e. the simple trap model (STM) and the model of localized transitions (LT). SLT allows recombination of trapped charge carriers via localized and delocalized transitions simultaneously. It is able to explain the occurrence of TL peaks with very high frequency factors involving the process of cascade detrapping (CD) mechanism. This paper presents kinetic equations for the most general case of SLT including all possible transitions. Conditions leading to classical limits (STM and LT) are discussed. Using the general SLT model it is shown that CD mechanism takes place in a system with localized and delocalized recombination occurring simultaneously. The K transition is responsible for quenching of CD process.
