Higher-order Utiyama–Yang–Mills Lagrangians

In this article we classify higher-order gauge invariant Lagrangian densities on the bundle of connections of a principal GG-bundle π:P→Mπ:P→M, in the case where the structure group is abelian. Also we show the strong obstruction for an analogous classification in the noncommutative case.
