On localised hotspots of an urban crime model

► Novel localised patterns are found in an urban crime model. ► Localised patterns are followed from Turing instability to the singular limit. ► The singular limit and Turing instability are analysed using asymptotics. ► Existence of radial spots in the urban crime model is proved. ► Localised 2D patterns are numerically investigated.
