The structure of dissipative viscous system of conservation laws

We revisit the structure of viscous systems of conservation laws that are entropy-dissipative. We prove that the dissipated quantities are spatial derivatives of certain nonlinear coordinates that are defined only in terms of the entropy and of the linear, non-dissipated, coordinates.
