New global solutions of the Jacobi partial differential equations

► A new family of Poisson structures is globally defined and analyzed. ► Existence of such Poisson structures is constructively proven for arbitrary values of dimension and rank. ► Global properties not usually present in other families of Poisson structures are characterized. ► The fundamental role of Casimir invariants for such a family and its properties is investigated.
