Plant production, and carbon and nitrogen source pools, are strongly intensified by experimental warming in alpine ecosystems in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau

► We use OTCs which have regulate temperature and miosture on alpine ecosystem. ► We examine changes in the ecosystem biomass and carbon and nitrogen dynamics. ► The ecosystem biomass increased by artificial warming. ► Increased temperature made swamp meadow a net C sink and alpine meadow a net source. ► The alpine ecosystems as a while acted as a carbon source by experimental warming.
