Induction chemotherapy with paclitaxel plus carboplatin followed by paclitaxel with concurrent radiotherapy in stage IIIB non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients: A phase II trial

Induction chemotherapy with carboplatin and paclitaxel followed by weekly paclitaxel with concurrent radiotherapy was found to be active and tolerable in selected stage IIIB NSCLC patients. Further studies are needed to improve the safety profile and outcome in this setting.
