Cost assessment in design of low volume manufacture machines

The paper presents an approach to design in view of the cost aspects. Authors present ‘dynamic’ cost assessment methods used at the early phase of machine development, along with a concept for assessment of low volume manufacture machine costs. The last chapter also presents an actual implementation of this concept.
