Phytochemical analysis, HPTLC finger printing, in vitro antioxidant and cytotoxic activity of Cymodocea serrulata

The results of the present study indicated that MECS possess antioxidant and cytotoxic activity and could be used as a source of antioxidant in the food industry. However further detailed phytochemical, pharmacological and in vivo studies should be the next step in the identification of active constituents.
