Approximate analysis of a square flat top sandwich panel with a curved bottom skin

Analytical approximations are developed for the central deflection and edge stress induced by a uniform pressure load applied to a square flat top sandwich panel with a curved bottom skin. The accuracy of the solutions is investigated by making comparisons with the results obtained from a finite element model.
