The influence of slotted floors on the bioclimatic traditional Galician agricultural dry-store structure (hórreo)

► The importance of airflow in the preservation of stored grain is based on the use of air. ► Some granaries do not have a wooden slatted floor with gaps, although they should. ► Slatted floor influences the thermodynamic behaviour, which is powered by solar radiation. ► The simulations showed that the inflow of air through the floor was high. ► Grooving positively affects the internal containment temperature.
