- THREE MONTHS after undergoing gastric bypass surgery, patients were sent a survey based on the Impact of Weight on Quality of Life-Lite instrument. The survey results demonstrated marked improvement in overall quality of life and physical function in this population, as well as the ability to decrease or discontinue medications for obesity-related comorbid conditions.
