Caractéristiques et résultats de l'étude RN4CAST relative aux infirmiers en Europe

Launched in 2009 as part of the European Union's seventh framework programme for research and development, the registered nurse forecasting study, commonly known as the RN4CAST study, came to an end in 2011. As one of the largest studies, this survey gave rise to more than 50 publications and was widely covered in scientific literature. The RN4CAST website (www.rn4cast.eu) provides an overview of the project. Aimed at French-speaking professionals, this article outlines the methodology and the main results of the RN4CAST study; it also helps readers navigate their way through existing scientific literature on the subject.
