AORN Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Resources and Initiatives

Multiple resources are available to the perioperative advanced practice registered nurse (APRN). Among these resources are the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN) position statements, advanced practice competency statements, specialty assemblies, educational offerings, posters, and publications. The AORN is also actively involved in many of the regulatory issues impacting perioperative APRNs. Additional resources are listed at the end of this article.
