Educación y Pedagogía en el marco del neoliberalismo y la globalización

En este trabajo se propone el análisis y la crítica ideológica a concepciones del sentido común acerca de la educación, la Pedagogía, el neoliberalismo y la globalización. Se trata de una exploración de la génesis institucional moderna de estas concepciones, al tiempo que se proponen consideraciones para pensar sus relaciones no evidentes. Un propósito central es establecer la relevancia de las mediaciones pedagógicas en la superación de las concepciones del sentido común, al tiempo que se valora a estas últimas como una forma de conocimiento fundamental desde el cual deberían estructurarse las prácticas educativas en sentido amplio, y particularmente las institucionales. Todo el análisis se propone en el marco de una concepción de educación que, al tiempo que va más allá de las instituciones educativas formales, regresa a ellas, particularmente a la formación docente, reconociendo su papel social fundamental desde la dialéctica entre lo instituido y lo instituyente.

In this paper a proposal is made for the analysis and ideological critique of common-sense conceptions regarding education, Pedagogy, neoliberalism and globalization. It is about an exploration of the modern institutional evolution of these conceptions, whilst proposing considerations to reflect upon the non-evident relationships between them. The main purpose of this paper is to establish the relevance of the pedagogical mediations in overcoming common-sense conceptions, whilst valuing the latter as a form of fundamental knowledge upon which the educational practices should be structured in a broad sense and, in particular, in an institutional sense. The whole analysis is proposed within the framework of the conception of education which, whilst going beyond the bounds of the formal educational institutions, returns to them, especially with regard to teacher training, by recognizing its fundamental social role from the perspective of the dialectics between the instituted and the instituting.
