On a robust modification of Breslow's cumulated hazard estimator

The Fisher consistency and asymptotic properties of a robust modification of Breslow's estimator are discussed. Sensitivity of the Breslow estimator is described both from the analytical and empirical point of view. The estimator's typical behavior is shown for simulated data and described in a real data case.
