RETRACTED: Physical parameters affecting coagulation of turbid water with Opuntia ficus-indica cactus

(2008) DOI: 10.1021/es7025054 in the journal Environmental Science and Technology) and with the previously published paper (Pritchard et al. (2010) DOI: 10.1016/j.pce.2010.07.020 in the journal Physics and Chemistry of the Earth.One of the conditions of submission of a paper for publication is that authors declare explicitly that their work is original and has not appeared in a publication elsewhere. As such this article represents a severe abuse of the scientific publishing system. The scientific community takes a very strong view on this matter and apologies are offered to readers of the journal that this was not detected during the submission process.
