Behavioural similarities in different species of sandhoppers inhabiting transient environments

► Sandhoppers' behaviour was analysed in a transient environment (wadi mouth). ► Africorchestia spinifera, Talorchestia brito, Talitrus saltator were found and tested. ► Different species occurrence was found on the two banks of an ephemeral river. ► However, orientation was explained by the same model for the three different species.
