Raman gap soliton in one-dimensional photonic crystal: A FDTD analysis

In this paper, Finite-Difference Time-Domain (FDTD) calculation of Maxwell's equations for simulation of Raman gap soliton is used. We investigated the generation of stationary gap solitons as well as slow gap solitons due to Raman shift in the one-dimensional photonic crystal. It is shown that by different intensities of the pump pulse, the generation position of slow Raman gap soliton can be altered. In addition, the dependence between generation position of Raman gap soliton and its velocity is verified.
