Plant-mediated effects of different Salix species on the performance of the braconid parasitoid Perilitus brevicollis

► The bottom-up effects of three Salix cultivars on Perilitus parasitoids were studied. ► Development time, survival, and longevity differed significantly between cultivars. ► The results suggest that Perilitus can be used for biocontrol in Salix viminalis.
