Mapping QTL conferring resistance to iron deficiency chlorosis in mungbean [Vigna radiata (L.) Wilczek]

► We have estimated heritability of resistance to iron deficiency chlorosis in mungbean grown in calcareous field in 2 years and found that the estimated values are moderate to high depending on years and traits measured. ► We have located QTL for resistance to iron deficiency chlorosis in mungbean grown in calcareous field. The resistance is controlled by a major and a minor QTLs. ► QTL for resistance to iron deficiency chlorosis under field and hydroponic conditions are the same.
