Length–weight relationships (LWR) of 76 fish species from the Gulf of Cadiz (SW Spain) were estimated. A total of 22,774 individuals belonging to 42 families were measured and weighed. The best represented family was Sparidae with 10 species, followed by Soleidae and Triglidae with 5 species each. Most species generally presented positive allometric growth, in particular those species belonging to Soleidae family. This study reports the first findings regarding the LWR of 57 species in the Spanish waters of the Gulf of Cadiz.
