Existence and uniqueness of positive solutions for fourth-order nonlinear singular continuous and discrete boundary value problems

Using the mixed monotone method we establish the existence and uniqueness of positive solutions for some fourth-order nonlinear singular continuous and discrete boundary value problem. The theorems obtained are very general and complement previously known results.
