Oscillation of second-order nonlinear ODE with damping

We are concerned with a class of general type second-order differential equations with a nonlinear damping term. New oscillation criteria are established, which are different from most known ones in the sense that they are based on a class of new functions Φ(t, s, l) defined in the sequel.
