A new approach for finding the determinant of matrices

In this paper, a new method is presented for determinant calculation. This method is an innovative method, extracted by the first author (Omid Rezaifar), for calculating the determinant either by hand or machine programming. This method is based on a recursive procedure for which the logical proof was undertaken. The Reliability and speed of this method are compared with other existing methods. The program of this algorithm was written with both Fortran90 and MATLAB.
