Computational method to evaluate fuzzy arithmetic operations

In this paper we propose a computational method to evaluate the arithmetic operations on fuzzy numbers with nonlinear membership functions. The simplicity and the overall effectiveness in the implementation are the attractions of the method and this is shown by some numerical examples.
