Nontrivial solutions for semilinear Schrödinger equations

The authors prove the existence of nontrivial solutions for the Schrödinger equation −Δu + V(x)u = λf(x, u) in ℝN, where f is superlinear, subcritical and critical at infinity, respectively, V is periodic.
