Generating sets for ideals of finite type in H∞

We study ideals of finite type in H∞, that is ideals of the form and give some necessary, respectively sufficient conditions for these ideals to be finitely generated. We also discuss finitely generated ideals of finite order N and show that they are always generated by N+1 Blaschke products.
