A reformulation of Le's conjecture 1

We give a new proof of Le's conjecture on surface germs in ℂ3 having as link a topological sphere for the case of surface singularities containing a smooth curve. Our proof leads to a reformulation of the general case of the conjecture into a problem of plane curve singularities and their relative polar curves.
